Notes
Anita (Goyetche) Fougére, 96, passed away at home in the Saint Anne Community and Nursing Care Centre in Arichat, N.S. on July 13, 2008, with her daughter, Shirley, and granddaughter, Lorna, by her side. All family members are so thankful to Shirley for having been there for her and for having dedicated so much time to our mother's care and comfort over these past years. Born in Cap Auguet, May 12, 1912, she was the daughter of the late James and Maria (Boudreau) Goyetche. She was predeceased by her husband, Godfrey Fougère; brothers, Andrew, John, Raymond, Lorenzo, Gus, Francis; sister, Jeanne Richard, and grandson, Leslie. She will be sadly missed by her children, Shirley (Eldon), Leona (Amos), Alex (Lucille), Bishop Vernon Fougère, Robert (Anne). Left to mourn also her brother, Henry Goyetche, Everett, Mass., and 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren are left to cherish fond memories of mémé and grand-mémé, who took great pride in their every accomplishment. At the advanced age of 96, she would still ask how someone did in hockey or baseball, or other activities they were engaged in. She was so proud of each and every one of them. We are also so thankful to the staff and volunteers of Saint Anne's and the doctors for the excellent care provided to our mother. We also want to thank the other residents who made her stay at Saint Anne's enjoyable. Thanks everyone May God bless you all
