GOYETCHE, Lorenzo "Larry" - 82, Halifax, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2002, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Cape Auget, Cape Breton, he was a son of the late James and Maria (Boudreau) Goyetche. Lorenzo was a baker all of his life. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Purcells Cove Road. He was a member of the Senior's Bowling League, South Center Bowlarama. He enjoyed gardening, and was a loving and devoted family man. He is survived by son, Ken (Muriel) Goyetche, Halifax; daughters, Bev (Wayne) Tanner, Minesville; Donna Goyetche, Hammonds Plains; Glenda (Jim) Bartkow, Halifax; brother, Henry (Bridget) Goyetche, Everett, Mass.; sisters, Anita Fougere, Petit de Grat; Jeanne (Willie) Richard, Petit de Grat; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances (Rent) Goyetche; brothers, Andrew, Francis, John, Raymond, Gustave, Jeante. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Friday. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, Father Yves Marchildon officiating. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
