Born In: Arichat Passed in: Louisbourg Passed on: October 27th, 2014 It is with heavy hearts that we announce James has taken his final voyage on Oct. 27, 2014. Born in Arichat, he was the son of the late Wilbert and Evangeline (Landry) Goyetche. James is survived by his sons, Albert (Jocelyn), Eugene (Karen) and Liam (Charlene) and his special granddaughter, Emma; his brothers, Gerry (Marilyn), Jackie (Bonnie); his sister, Leona (Buddy) MacDonald and sister-in-law, Brenda. James is also survived by his three stepchildren, Gary (Brenda) Kendall, Kelly Kendall (Glenn Nichol, his special buddy) and Claudette Gale (Jim) as well as several step-grandchildren. James was predeceased by his brother, Carl and his special partner, Frances Ann Kendall. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Memorial donations maybe made to the Cape Breton Palliative Care unit of the CBRH.
