CB Post October 2, 2000 Charles David (Carl) Goyetche 60, Catalone Charles David (Carl) Goyetche, 60, of 53 Main-a-Dieu Road, Catalone, passed away suddenly in a boating accident on Saturday Sept. 30, 2000. Born in Arichat, N.S., he was the son of the late Wilbert and Evangeline (Landry) Goyetche. He was a member of Stella Maris Parish, Louisbourg. He was employed as a lighthouse keeper on several stations and retired from the Canadian Coast Guard in 1977 with over 40 years service. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Wadden); two sons, David (Lee Marie), Westmount, and Colin (Frances), Catalone; and three grandchildren, Brittany, Craig, and Bradley. He is also survived by three brothers, James (Frances Ann), Louisbourg, Gerry (Marilyn), Main-a-Dieu and Jackie (Bonnie), Sydney; one sister, Leona (Buddy) MacDonald, Catalone. Visitation will be held today (Monday) in Stella Maris Church, Main St., Louisbourg, from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday with Fr. Conrad Edwards officiating. lnterment, Old Town Cemetery, Louisbourg. Arrangements are under the direction of W.A. Chant Funeral Home, Louisbourg. Donations may be made to the Louisbourg Fire Department.
