Edith A. Munroe, 91, formerly of Nashua and Lee and Palm Bay, Fla., died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999 at Wentworth-Douglas Hospital in Dover. Mrs. Munroe was born March 18, 1908, in Nova Scotia, daughter of the late James A. and Mary (Goyetche) Reynolds. She came to the United States in the mid-1920s and lived on Dodge Street in Nashua for many years. She moved to Lee in 1978, residing on Allen Avenue until 1982, when she moved to Palm Bay. Mrs. Munroe maintained a summer home in Hillsboro for a number of years. She was the widow of Gordon H.J. Munroe, who died Aug. 4, 1982. Mrs. Munroe was a communicant of St. Christopher Church in Nashua. She attended Little Dover, Nova Scotia, schools. Mrs. Munroe was predeceased by a daughter, Marie Wallace; and two sisters, Edna Mitchell and Evelyn Bassett. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, James H. and Nancy Munroe of Nashua, Robert and Brenda Munroe of Hudson and William and Rosa Munroe of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Frank DeRocchi of Lee; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
