It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear brother Cyril on February 18, 2014 at the age of 38. He is survived by his wife Alison, his parents Gerald and Marilyn, his brother Jonathan and his sisters Tara, Michelle, Denise and Kristen. Cyril was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia but spent the first 13 years of his life in Barachois Brook, Newfoundland where at an early age he developed a love and respect for hard work whether it was on the water fishing with his dad or on land working at whatever he could to help support his family. The family returned to Halifax and it was there in 1995 that he met and later married his wife Alison with whom he spent the past 18 years sharing a love of their God Jehovah, family, friends, travel and of course each other. The past 10 years of Cyril's life were spent here in Kitchener, Ontario where he was a valued employee of Tri-City Readymix as a Driver/Concrete Pump Operator. What was most important though to Cyril was serving his God Jehovah which he did as an active member of the Eastwood Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He worked alongside his brothers and sisters in many ways including sharing with people the Bible promise found at Revelation 21:4 - " And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away."
