Bertha "Sissy" Goyetche, died on July 30, 2010 after a battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 14, 1916 to Frida and Walter Dyer, she spent her summers working on the New Jersey shore in both Atlantic City and Wildwood. In 1946, she moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL where she made her career working at Heilman's Restaurant until retiring. She relocated to Melbourne Beach, FL in 1982. She was married twice, most recently to Pete Goyetche. She spent much time at the beach both fishing and swimming in addition to her passion for dancing. Sissy is survived by her dear friend and companion Bernhardt Mangeng, nephews David, Gregory and Freddie and her niece Evelyn. The funeral service will be held at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic at 11 am on August 25, 2010. There will be refreshments immediately following the service at the Moose Lodge at 157 Dayton Blvd., Melbourne.
